ya, it's been over a year since I had this much time on my hands to play. I abandoned all my buoys, but they are plenty of public ones now. The landscape and the play book (attack & defense matrix) has changed a lot. This time around I realize that I only need a long bow and sword that are optimized in the ranger specialization. Now I'm up to +22, but to finish +25 will cost a cool $1m. To make that much gold, you have to go water hunting in 2s or 3s. it's been pretty boring, so far. I'm mayor of a city with only 2 residents, so there's no city coins to build with. I could join a kingdom, but I don't want to devote all my time to somebody else's cause. that's too much like a job - work your ass off for them, but some of them are pretty testy and they'll fire you in a heartbeat. so, for the time being, I'm just going to max out my equipment and shore up the city's fortifications. The old city was destroyed.

Spiny, contact me in game or I will contact you. I can join you for occassional water hunts, and I have some good spots too (like a trail in SW florida, for example). I am a level 35 militia, with +26 poison xbow, +25 poison scale and +25 honed bp, several relevant rings, fully leveled dragon, 5 x +5 axe golems, etc. I have every single relevant combat skill there is (I have 49 skill points; only 300 tokens away from #50). I use all five quickslots.

A couple things - with purse being 300k, SCs shouldn't be a problem any more. Also, chatting while hunting is easy when one of us will be taunting... Just need to pay attention.

BTW, our kingdom (Spirit of Soulja) is massive and has lots of dungeons. We are very chill... people contribute because they want to not because they have to. So, consider joining us.

Maybe you should join a kingdom. Take soulja for example... always someone online to chat/hunt with. just ask what people are doing. Easy way to make friends and get help upgrading your gear. You can use a bankingsystem to store your gold when you have more your purse can handle.
Yes we have stuff that needs to be done to improve our kingdom or just for fun... but all things are optional. If you dont want to join a race thats fine. If you do? YAY! But its not like we will kick you out if you dont.
