dark monolith

Post by [CaL]-Dune* on Sun Oct 28, 2012 10:04 am

Can someone explain how it can be that we jump to a dark monolith on exactly the moment the ticket allows it, and that another kd is fully set up there already with personal towers etc?

Are you sure you were on time? Multiple members could have had building rings also

Yes exactly on time. Heared the same from a few other kds. It's one particular kd that's at it.

don't see how that's possible. even with building rings they can't already have personal towers

Something to do with daylight saving changes in the UK maybe (or elsewhere)?

I've had this happen to me personally and I found that certain servers seem to lag just slightly behind the others. So in other words if I use my ticket in Australia (which I have personally found to be one of these servers)I can almost guarantee it will be behind someone using from us server. Try from other server next time. It fixed this problem for me.

There is still a "rotation". However, from my understanding, all that means is that the large war kingdoms have agreed not to fight each other for the monolith unless it's their turn. It has nothing to do with "controlling" the monolith or prohibiting another kingdom from participating. It has everything to do with the large war kingdoms not endlessly fighting each other and wasting time and mats. They also do not assist each other in securing the monolith, so it's not like you have several large war kingdoms working together at each monolith making it impossible for anyone else to try for it. Any kingdom that wants to go to a monolith is free to go fight like hell for it. In most cases, be prepared for a fight because you're almost guaranteed there will be a large war kingdom present, but that would likely happen regardless if there was a rotation or not. I would think the rotation actually works out better for smaller kingdoms as you're only fighting 1 large war kingdom instead of several.
