A ninja is good because you can just use it like militia???? Then just be militia and get the bonus to heavy armour and a longer ranged weapon.
Yes all ranged weapons suck against those monsters, but ninja and militia are the only classes that don't get a bonus to a melee weapon as well.

Jeremy, I never claimed ninja was ”good”. I agree with you that they were majorly nerfed. However,,you are making ninja seem horrible when they are merely mediocre. Again, SirBilliam seems to be asking solely about hunting, so militia's +2 to ranged weapons (and dodge offense which you didn't mention) are not relevant here. For PvE, ninja vs militia is simply ninja's higher land speed vs. militia's 50 meter greater range.

Please note that I recommended to him against ninja and to go ranger if he didn't like warrior's play style.

In terms of ranged kiting, there several classes that seem to do just fine despite these changes that you indicated. Ninja/militia can kite just fine as they don't get force switched to melee. As militia, I can kite epic mags all day long without needing to use.ice. Also, ranger has the range and speed to often maintain a good kite. And O.M. can kite nicely due to their built in slowdown.

Thank you for your help. For now, i will hang out as a warrior. What is the name or the prefix of the poison ring i should be looking for?

And,sirbilliam,the ultimate ring if you are using poison is of course +2 to poison dmg and +15% chance to poison(it's 15%,right?)..Now,good luck finding it.. :shock:

Shawn, there is no such thing as a "+15% chance to poison" ring. Look at the "ring names" document: http://guide.parallelkingdom.com/index.php/Ring_Names

SirBilliam, what you want is a grand Toxic or Venom ring, preferably with another useful power on the same ring.
