Effective Spawn Levels

I've searched the forum and have read many threads relating to spawn levels.

First, does anyone know the max effective spawn level? is it +25 or +26.

Second, If it's +26, does upgrading to +26 gear (tunic and shuri - ninja class) really result in the spawning of a significantly greater number of epic monsters?

Third, are certain classes (maxed out) able to more effectively spawn more epic monsters. I.e. a Ninja with a maxed +26 shuri/tunic vs. a oiyoi master training with a maxed +26 staff/sling/tunic vs. a warrior +26 shield, BP, and axe?

Fourth and what I consider most important (Taken from Dr. Jeremy in another thread)... What is the spread of levels that spawn anyway, we know the average spawn level is your effective level. And based on damage I have seen it seems the spread is +/- about 4-6 levels. Are those the limits? Does it follow a normal distribution? What is the standard deviation?

Fifth, Hunting in groups generates more gold. Is that because it increases the likelihood of epic spawns (assuming everyone in the group is maxed)?

What is the best setup to generate the most epic spawns?

Something like 5-10% more.

No, classes are all the same in that respect

The devs have not released this information as far as I know.

No, See this part of the guide

just a note . . . only one level 26 and one level 25 is required for effective lvl 26 as it rounds up.

if oma and level 25 or higher you only need a capped piece of gear as your other weapon/armor will be your level.

curious as I just thought of this . .

when you have a 26 and a 25 your effective level says it's 26. But will having two 26s give you a higher effective level 26. What I'm saying is the game rounds up to 26 and displays it to you but does the coding still see it as 25.5 vs 26?

Don't think so, effective level is rounded up to an integer.

Now that the levels have increased from 26 to 27 do we have to have a 27 level wep to spawn more epics? I have noticed that I spawn a lot more vicious since the update and I have a 25 level wep with a ring to bump it up to 26... just trying to figure out if I need to level it up to 26. Also, I am a little confused on the response to the multiple level wep question. I have a 25 staff with staff ring to make 26. I also have a 24 armor and 24 sling... would that put me at a 26 to spawn epics since my highest wep is 26 or would it be the average of 26, 24, 24 (avg = 24.6) rounded up to give me a 25?

you can test that too in a pg by hitting the dummy in the right upper corner. change your equipment and hit again and see differences. that wont give an answer on spawning monsters but it shows you your gear level. =)

Rings do not affect spawn level just as class bonuses do not ... And it's your single highest weapon and single highest armor averaged out that is in your inventory...doesn't matter what is equipped. Also oma gives you lvl 25 for armor and weapon (if you are lvl 25 or higher)

As for the vicious vs epics with the new level that is a dev question as I haven't seen it answered yet.

Thanks for the response... I had no idea that rings don't effect the spawn level, but that make sense if it just takes the highest weapon and armor in your inventory as the reference. Sounds like I need a dev to answer the question about vicious vs epic spawn rates for the new gear levels... hopefully we can get a response soon :)
