Mourning Trees

Post by *§ØLR€ÅVËR* on Sun Apr 15, 2012 7:12 am

It would be nice if you could have a function to chop the tree and pick the berries at the same time. Keep the pick berry and the chop tree function because some people like to make mourning tree farms and not chop the trees and some people don't want the berries but for those of us who want the wood and the berries it's really time consuming when your chopping 300-400 trees and you have to click each one twice inorder to get your berries and your wood sometimes you mess up and you don't get the berries cause you accidently hit chop tree.

For your information, this could be done before. At least I did it... But after an update, it was no longer possible.

I really don't understand what your talking about here can you please explain. Cause what I was saying is they add a tab wyeth you click the tree that allos you to pick and chop at the same time while still not changing the pick berries or chop tree function. This would another function pick and chop at same time.

Oh..I thought that you wanted to be allowed to harvest berries during the chopping of the tree. So,what you are suggesting is the adding of a option which will say "Harvest berry and chop down"(something like that). So as you do not need to do this seperatly for each tree.Anyway,it's a +1 from me...

First off, this thread does not belong in "Strategy". There is nothing can player can do this effect this behavior.
This ought to be in the Suggestions forum.

Secondly, just a few days ago, another player made the exact same suggestion IN THE SUGGESTIONS FORUM.

I will re-post here what I said there:
{KØB§}~Valdis™ wrote:If this happens, this will cause the value of berries to drop to dump value. How? Between
chopping gloves and grand chopping rings, access to quick chopping is easy. If you can
eliminate those extra two steps of "click on tree" "click on harvest", then every piece of wood
on the market will have come there with *at least* one berry (as warden skill provides for
extra berries). People will no longer harvest berries occasionally... it will become at automatic
thing.

Here... how about this? You plant a sapling (and you happen to have warden skill). Two or three days
later, a piece of wood and a berry automatically appear in your inventory. Won't that be so much
easier? Or, you click attack, and your player automatically attacks every monster on that flag
without additional input on your part. Won't that be so much better? Ummm... not.

Unless much better gold sinks (uses for large amounts of gold) are implemented, anything
that makes gold input higher (e.g. making hunting or gathering easier) will just lead to more
gold inflation. Anything that would have been a proper gold sink has been supplanted by
limited edition items purchased in food. I will leave it as an exercise for the reader what this
means in terms of PerBlue's attitude about the PK economy.
