Zygna on facebook is also horrid for making you jump through hoops to get free in game cash and them never giving it too you. untill you call 4 times and send 25 e-mails. why do you game makers still use this process when it clearly dosent work. it is a good way to make people stop useing your games.
Oh I just saw where now it is 40 food per level.. well for the casual gamer it can take days to level up one level so for all my hard work of refering people i get 40 food once a week if they play all the time and level blahhhhhhhh forget that considering this game takes forever to level or get anywhere they will quit before then. not to mention they will also be out of food by level 5 same as me so then what??? they have to refere people who will allso then be out of food by level 5?? this is a poor referal system you can forget me refereing anyone.
Quit tring to frustrate people into buying food. most people will just quit playing. you need a better business model.
I think you're overestimating how hard it is to get food in this game. Hunt and gather for gold and resources, open up chat (trade chat, help chat, whatever) and get an invite to Happy Valley or another active trade hub, and sell your stuff for food, and you'll easily be able to keep up with leveling demand with enough to spare to do/get the other things you want. The fact that the special-offers-for-food thing doesn't work better than other freemium games is much less important when you realize that you can just play the game to earn food, too - just not directly.
