The Third Age is Named and A New Feature is Revealed Return to General Discussion

We want to give everyone a sneak peak of an upcoming feature in the third Age. And as an added bonus we will end your speculation on the name of this upcoming Age.

The Third Age, The Age of Emergence, will have a vastly improved competitive rankings system. Instead of competing on the two paltry stats the Age of Gathering offers (gold and flags) you will be able to compete in many more aspects. There will be a couple additional categories for lifetime achievements, but the bulk of the new rankings will be weekly stats.

In addition to the glory of being at the top of the weekly ranking list, you are going to have the ability to earn Trophy Hats that your avatar can wear in the game. These Trophy Hats will go to the winner of the weekly competitions in EACH of the stats mentioned below. That's right, every week the top spot in each category will win a Trophy Hat that your character can flaunt for the rest of his or her career, and then the competition resets and everyone starts with a clean slate for the next week.

Here's how you can help us put the finishing touches on the Trophy Hats: we want you to come up with names for each of the hats. We'll give you the competitive categories, and you can reply to this post with some entertaining suggestions. If we like what we read, your suggestion could be the name of that hat for the rest of PK eternity.

Ranking Categories
1. Most Buildings Constructed In a Week
2. Total Unique Player Kills (Players still under noob protection don't count)
3. Total Creature Kills
4. Most Roc Feathers Spent via Invites
5. Most Pages Earned
6. Most Buildings Destroyed
7. Most Alchemical Concoctions Made
8. Most Weapons and Items Crafted
9. Most Income From Rite of Passage
10. Most Trees Planted, Tended and Chopped

So just reply to this with some suggestions and please BE SURE TO MENTION WHICH RANKING YOUR SUGGESTION IS FOR.

They will only be to show off your accomplishments. They won't give any additional abilities or enhancements

Roc Feathers Spent: Aviator Goggles (you know how they're worn on the head when not in use?)
Roc Feathers Spent (alternate): Winged Hat
Pages Earned: Mortarboard (yeah, I already said that)
Buildings Destroyed: Hard Hat
Income Earned: Crown
Trees Chopped: Plaid Cap
