Details as to how the gold fine works

Post by K'tilqr(Mrs.MarkB) on Sun Dec 22, 2013 10:07 am

I am trying to get I formation on how having a fine affects a players ability to trade.

The Update hut from 9th September says they can't drop, sell or giftbox.

Can they -
Still use a trade tent?
Still drop items when they have insufficient carrying ability (I.e. You kill them and they drop a backpack)?
Still drop items inside their own manor?

I can't find anything in the guide on this.

Maybe we can ask players with a gold fine to document how it works? I don't think a list exists, but here are some profiles I've noticed of players with a gold fine.

I traded with someone under fine.... tents work.

In this case, it was a double-tent thing... he traded item to a trusted friend via tent, then I traded with his friend, my gold for his item.

I guess the friend is holding the gold for him.... shrug.

In that case, maybe the friend was buying and holding the item for the fined player; not necessarily meaning the fined player could trade. That's what it seems to me at least. Unless of course you absolutely trust that the fined player wasn't lying.
