Dungeons can be found all over the world. You will find them in cities, in the country, and everywhere between, and no two are the same. There are four types of dungeon: Caverns, Roc Nests, Groves, and Dojos. These are harrowing places, and for your protection, you will not be allowed to venture into them until you reach a certain level. Even then, survival can be a challenge.
To enter any kind of dungeon, you will need a torch. Creating a torch at a dungeon entrance will require 20 Refined Oil and 1 Wood. Using these torches will require one of your hands, so you will not be able to use a shield when you travel through the dungeons. These torches will not last forever, and will burn out when you leave or when you have finished the dungeon.
CavernCaverns are deep, dark dungeons. Of all the dungeons, they are the easiest, but that isn't to say they aren't still a challenge. Within these caverns await many dangers; troodonts don't take kindly to invaders in their midst. When you happen upon them, they will quickly barricade the doors, and you will not be allowed to leave until you have dispatched them. If you survive the labyrinth, you may happen upon the Troodont King. Defeat him, and you will be able to collect one of his glistening green Troodont Scales.

Rare Troodont Scales are found in the depths of the Cavern which will unlock the Troodont Doctrine skill.
Roc NestThese are found most commonly near the airports of our world. Enter the home of the giant flying Roc at your own peril. Inside you will find Giant Fleas and Giant Mice that live off the scraps of the Rocs. At the end of this dungeon, you will encounter a giant Roc and if you are formidable enough to slay it, you might just find one of its treasured Roc Eggs.

GroveFor some reason, Groves are usually found near the locations of our parks. These enchanted forests are being plagued by unknown dark forces. There have been hints and whispers of nefarious creatures that reside deep within these Groves, but their true nature remains shrouded in mystery. Avoid them if you can, fight them if you must, and if you are quick enough and strong enough, you may survive to collect some of the Grove's valuable Acorns. If you can manage to collect 18 of them and present them to one of the Wardens (hermits who live within these dark places), he may reward you with some of his knowledge.

DojoThis is the most advanced and difficult dungeon. Most who enter are never heard from again, so not much is known about the inner workings of this place. Legend has it that your weapons are useless in here.
